CEO Joins the Great British Care Awards Judging Panel

Julie Colley-Wells is a judge for The Great British Care Awards 2024

Our CEO, Julie Wells-Colley, has recently participated as an esteemed judge for The Great British Care Awards 2024, in the Home Care Employer category.

The awards aim to celebrate excellence within the care sector. They pay tribute to all the nominated individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work and within the Health & Social Care industry.

This is Julie’s 3rd year helping to judge The Great British Care Awards and along with 2 other judges, she helped to whittle the National Award finalists down in the Home Care Employer category ahead of the National Finals on 22nd March at ICC, Birmingham. Julie’s expertise, experience in the Care industry and genuine passion to help people made her the perfect judge for this year’s awards.

Julie said: “The nominees this year are amazing. The work, dedication and impact these individuals, teams and organisations are having on our industry is phenomenal. We’re so lucky to work in a sector which is having such a positive impact on people’s lives and all the nominees this year should be immensely proud of themselves for helping us all change lives for the better. The top 2 that were chosen are truly so deserving and I couldn’t be more pleased for them.”

Along with her 2 co-judges, Julie was looking for stand-out Home Care Employers. Employers who makes a difference not only within their organisation but someone who makes a big difference to the lives of their people. Someone who has an impact on those they support, their families, the community and beyond. The judges selected their top 2 Home Care Employers which will be revealed at the awards evening in a months time.

Julie continued: “At Moorview Care, as with all the incredible winners of these awards, we understand that our team and the people who work tirelessly for and with our clients are the crux of our organisation. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to provide the 5-star care that we’re known for. Our frontline team, our office team and every single person in between are vital and through our many team benefits, regular training from our in-house Inclusive Learning & Development team and via our family ethos, we make sure our team feel valued and remind them every day of their contribution to the Moorview Care family.”
