Please join us in congratulating Louise Thompson as she officially receives her CQC Registration across Bridlington and Hull!
Becoming a Registered Manager is no small feat—it takes years of dedication, training, and experience. Louise has worked tirelessly to achieve this milestone, and we couldn’t be prouder!
A Little About Louise’s Journey
Louise’s career path has been as varied as it has been inspiring. She started out as a hairdresser and a Young Carer, later working in Children’s Residential Care Homes. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in Social Care, spending time in the Education Sector as a Business Development and Contracts Manager before returning to Regional and Operational Management roles.
Outside of work, Louise has four step-children, a dog called Bailey, and is an avid Brentford fan, spending her weekends cheering on the Bees in hope of a win! 🐝⚽
When Louise saw the Registered Manager role at Moorview Care, it was our values that caught her attention. She realised they resonated with her deeply and was inspired to join our team to make a real difference.
🗣 “There is a real commitment to embedding our values throughout everything we do at Moorview Care, and a sense of positivity.”
“This role carries huge responsibility—ensuring everyone is safe, well cared for, and thriving. I’m legally and morally responsible for the services, and it’s an absolute privilege to be in this position of trust.”
“I feel incredibly proud to lead such a committed team and privileged to help people achieve their goals—both the team and the individuals we support.” 💚
Exciting Changes in Bridlington
Louise’s registration comes at an exciting time for our Bridlington locality:
🟢 Luke Storry, Cluster Manager in ECH, will take a more active role in Bridlington.🟢 New Team Leader, Kiara Eldridge, has been appointed to further support the Bridlington Team, with an additional Team Leader vacancy to be filled.
A big thank you to Sami, who has started her maternity leave, and Toni, who has chosen to transition into a Support Worker role. We appreciate all you have done for Strathmore House and the wider team! 💙
Louise’s Words of Gratitude
