Our Moorview Care Family is ever expanding, and we have grown our portfolio of services organically over the years - now with 17 locations across throughout Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington & Hull. Despite our unprecedented growth, we still maintain our family-feel and our family values are still at the heart of everything we do.

We're a leading provider within the Yorkshire and Humber regions, specialising in supporting those with a learning disability and autism. We support over 50 people in shared houses of between 2 and 6 people with additional members of the Moorview Care family being supported in the community.

Our team share the outlook that the people we support come first, and we are there to support them to live their own gloriously ordinary lives. Our philosophy is to enable people by equipping them with the skills and tools for life’s challenges. We have an excellent reputation for supporting people to live the life they choose, with as much joy and laughter as possible.

In 2000, Moorview Care started life as a 16-bed residential care home in Robin Hood’s Bay, North Yorkshire. With a wealth of experience and dedication behind them, a husband and wife duo began on the adventure of a lifetime and started the Moorview Care journey. Fast forward to today and in 2024, the family are still integral in the day to day runnings of Moorview Care but alongside them, stand hundreds of talented, kind individuals who provide exemplary care, support and friendship to our team, those we support and the community.

We pride ourselves on the high-quality, person-centred support that we deliver around the clock. We have an “Outstanding” rating from CQC for our services in Whitby & Scarborough and a “Good” rating for Bridlington & Hull.

We are committed to continuous improvement and collect regular feedback to ensure we are on the right track. One of the things that defines us as a family business is to never operate a service where we wouldn't be happy for one of our own relatives to live and be supported. We constantly ask the question: "Would we be happy if this was the support provided to my Mum or Dad, brother or sister?" and we can honestly say, yes. We couldn't be prouder of the service we provide.
