Our agile and responsive approach means that we can provide bespoke homes tailored to individuals and we work tirelessly to support people as if they were a member of our own family.
Moorview Care has an outstanding reputation and an excellent track record of providing individualised care and support for people who have a learning disability and autism, in Yorkshire and Humber.
We put everything into our people - those we support and our team. Our in-house Learning & Development Team (L&D) lead the way by ensuring the quality of our care and support. With input from our co-production group, Moorview Matters - who are led by those we support, L&D and our Operations Team, we have set the standard exceptionally high and it shows through our testimonials, success stories and our CQC ratings.
Flexible Person-Centred Support
Moorview Care delivers person-centred support which puts our people at the centre of everything that we do; making sure the support suits their individual needs. It’s about respecting that the people we support have their own views on what’s best for them, and they have their own values and priorities. We adapt the way we support each person to their expectations and preferences, not the other way around.
This enables our people to retain their dignity and autonomy. It encourages independence, develops skills and enables people to live a gloriously ordinary life.
Supported Living & Community Support
The majority of the care and support we provide is known as supported living, or community support, which both focus on supporting people to live in their own house, either on their own or with others.
We work in partnership with various housing providers to provide highly personalised, safe, creative and fun environments where the people we support can develop their social, communication and life skills to enable them to live a more independent life including education and employment. We base our support around each person's dreams and aspirations and always with a focus on improving the individuals quality of life.
